Challenge Response: The Bible Is Okay with Abortion

Here’s my response to this week’s challenge:

    I’ve always been baffled by that challenge since it seems so easy to refute (seriously, you’re gonna try to use the Bible to SUPPORT abortion???), but there are many professing Christians who use it to support their pro-abortion belief… which is even more baffling (or not).

    Once we remove that claim, we can then move onto SLED and other helpful tactics to take the roof off, which typically would come first in the conversation since this Exodus ploy seems like its a last ditch effort.

    At the end of the day when all the arguments are presented, someone who is pro-abortion must come to the conclusion they are ok with killing a human life and that all human life is not equal based on their subjective moral view. We just can’t let them borrow our terminology and continue to believe they’re being intellectually honest by holding to conflicting beliefs, ie murder is “wrong”, but abortion is ok.
