Challenge Response: Are Works Required?

    The mormons, claim that Biblical Christianity, allows us to get saved and then do whatever we want, is not and never has been classic christianity. The Liberal christians teach that, not the conservative christianity. Being raised ELCA, it was a common beleif that you could do whatever after you were baptized and confirmed, as people would go to church on sunday and then go to the bars or whatever they wanted to do. second Being saved now means that we have been removed from being under the Law (Torah) to under the Law Giver. So when christians sin and dont turn from it then they can expect to be discplined by the Father because He loves us. The problem i see is that christians cannot connect the dots or they dont understand cause and effect. So when adversity strikes in the work place or something rough goes on in their life they either think it is the devil or a trial when in reality it could be the chastizing of a loving father trying to get their attension to repent. Like Hebrews says: what father doesn’t discpline his children?
