Challenge Response: Christians Are Insecure

In this week’s challenge, atheist Dan Barker says Christians are just insecure.  Is he right?

    On the contrary, I am secure in Christ. All people have a deep longing in their soul to believe in “something” or “someone”. I also believe God gives us this longing. Dan and every other atheist have a problem with the gathering together of believers, in my opinion, because one people fear what they don’t understand and it is obvious they don’t understand grace and two the presence of God in that place of worship! Prayers go out to Dan.

    No, humans are insecure. Besides, humans aren’t clever enough to make up a story like the one about Jesus by themselves, just out of insecurity.
