If and it’s a big “if” that they indeed found a Gay gene wouldn’t the logical conclusion be that being gay is not abnormal but normal and moral. Being born black or asian or born with one arm or blind or being born with genes that will make you tall or short is not immoral or wrong.
The conclusion would be that gay is normal and it should not be view with disdain.
    I would like your comments

  2. Andrew Morris says:

Being born blind, or with one arm is not normal at all…It’s an abnormal thing.

If what they are saying about a “gay gene” is true…which they are stating that you have more of a certain hormone than the other…which is a Hormonal Imbalance… which is not normal…an imbalance… a mutation…a genetic defect…

    Thats just my 2 cents

    Eric,

When conversing over this issue, I think that it is important that we remember morality is not derived from normality. Morality is derived from God, his character, his attributes, Himself. Homosexuality is immoral because it is contrary to the representation of God. Likewise, stealing, lusting, showing favoritism_ even wanting something that is not yours is immoral because it goes against who God is which He reveals to us through His Word…even more specifically the Ten Commandments.
